It would seem our last update featuring Tara Duncan was something of a hit this weekend! For those suffering withdrawal symptoms we’re delighted to include some more unpublished photos, this time from ‘Short Sharp Shock’ which appeared in Janus 155.
If you’d like to see more of Tara keep checking back here – we’ll be featuring previously unseen photos from Janus 132 and 139 in the near future when these issues become available as digital downloads.

Thanks to everyone who has contacted us over the last few weeks with requests for photos they’d like to see on the news page. One name that comes up very regularly is Tara Duncan who appeared four times in Janus (132, 139, 155 and 156) and fortunately she is well represented in the Janus archive.
She was interviewed and then punished by our very own Roy Tersley in Feburs 41 (which will be available shortly) and this interview was reprinted with a different selection of photos in Janus 156. Even though the accompanying photos were shot on colour film, only one colour photo appeared in either of the two magazines.
We hope you enjoy this selection of unseen colour photos from Tara’s final appearance in Janus. There were some lovely candid shots taken during the interview and, as she is such a popular model, we thought you’d enjoy seeing them along with the photos of her punishment.
Published in 2001, ‘Jobseeker’s Contrivance’ was set in 2020 and remarkably writer Julie Holmes wasn’t far off the mark with her political predictions!
Personnel Manager Philip Harris is becoming rather frustrated with the coalition government – many of their decisions have led to a huge increase in bureaucracy. Whereas a low skilled job might previously have been filled by word of mouth, all vacancies now have to be referred to the Employment Service who select the most suitable candidates for interview.
Angie Grange is late! Sent by the Employment Service for an important interview she can’t even be bothered to turn up on time. Fortunately, Personnel Managers now have some latitude – informal discipline was steadily becoming the norm in a world where neither workers nor employers wanted to go through the convoluted grievance, dismissal or vacant job processes. Angie’s knickers would be coming down shortly…
We hope you enjoy this selection of unpublished photos from the Februs archive. To see the rest of Angie’s punishment including her caning you can download a digital copy of Februs 44 by clicking on the highlighted link.
