Thanks so much to Mark for emailing us and drawing our attention to the young lady pictured on the left. Mark explains:
“I have to share this article in today’s paper about an 18 year old girl suing her school because she failed to get into University because of bad grades. She was absent from school a lot, didn’t complete work, etc. Particularly like the comment from Daz (7 down): “…Oh one more thing – use the wooden spoon more often… haha”. Wouldn’t she be an oh-so-deserving candidate for a Janus photo story?” (Click here to read the article.)
We certainly agree Mark! What a pity the article concerned is now closed for comments. I have no doubt visitors to this site would have been only too happy to share their thoughts about what this young lady needs!
Molly Pankhurst first appeared in the photo story ‘For Want of a Horse’ in Februs 40. Our own Roy Tersley also interviewed her for his ‘Secret Lives’ series in Februs 42. In the interview Molly discusses her upbringing, her adult life experiences of corporal punishment and what it was like to take part in a Februs photo shoot.
Februs 40 will shortly be available to download but we couldn’t resist including some photos from Molly’s first appearance because she looks amazing both in and out of her jeans! The other unpublished photos were taken from her interview shoot in Februs 42.
To read Molly’s interview you can download a digital copy of Februs 42 by clicking on the highlighted link.
We’ve had a couple of requests to feature some unpublished images of our tennis player Vicky Martins from Janus 120. Vicky appeared as part of the popular Uniform Series and a number of unseen colour photos survive in the archive. To download a copy of Janus 120 click on the highlighted link.
If there are any particular photo stories you’d like us to re-visit then drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org
